The Swifts returned to action against Tollymore Forest at The Millbridge, both level on 18 points.
It was United who had the majority of possession in the first half with Gareth Bingham, Gavin Crawford and George McCartney controlling midfield.
Ballynahinch struck first when Gavin Crawford rose highest to head home to give the home side the lead.
Tollymore equalised soon after to even the scores at the half.
United bagged a second when Thomas Rodgers crossed from the right for Naseem Ouldhamlat to make a simple finish in a well worked move.
The Swifts ran out of steam however, and conceded three late on despite being the better team throughout.
