Ballynahinch United faced Bloomfield for the first time this season. After another wet week, The Millbridge pitch was soft but playable and it was the home who took advantage.
A corner by Stuart McMullan was turned home by Sam Lurring at the backpost to give United the lead.
Ballynahinch kept possession well and were in control of the half.
They doubled the lead when Robbie Lurring’s effort from outside the box wrong-footed the goalkeeper after a slight deflection.
They say 2-0 at half-time is a dangerous scoreline, and it proved just that for United. Bloomfield came out in the second half and caught the home-side on the counter.
To make matters worse, Bloomfield found an equaliser shortly after with United struggling to find their rhythm from the first-half.
In the dying moments of the game, David Kelly set Robbie through who rounded the ‘keeper and found the back of the empty net to give United a late winner in a dramatic finish.
A good performance with a slight blip, but the three points see Untied go level on points with the visitors.
