Our Mini Soccer section focuses on fundamental movement skills with an introduction to football. Our small-sided age groups play games in the IFA Games Development Programme (GDP). Here they start to develop their understanding of match scenarios in a non-competitive environment. Once they progress out of the GDP they will play in the South Belfast Invitational Youth Football League. However, this is another year of non-competitive football. After that, they will move to 11-a-side competitive league football until they reach Under 17.
The main focus of the youth section is to develop the whole player under the ethos of Strengths Based Coaching, with a clear pathway through to our Senior Men’s and Ladies teams.
We are a community club engaging with, providing resources for and helping local schools and community groups.
We strive to ensure that every child will be challenged to reach their potential in a fun, safe and caring environment.
