The Swifts met Dromara Village IIIs in the first round of the Harry Clarke Cup at Bellsbridge, whilst missing several key players.
Bingham’s boys fell behind in the first half but played significantly better in the second half.
David Griffiths scored for the second game in a row with a calm, composed chip over the onrushing Goalkeeper.
Shortly afterwards, captain John McMenamin slotted home a penalty to give United the lead.
Sam Annett completed the scoring on his return to Ballynahinch United with a well placed left footed finish from just outside the box, to see the team progress to the next round.
