Match report: Saintfield United 2 – 1 B United

Ballynahinch took the short trip to Pigeon Hill to face The Saints in NAFL 1C.

It was the visitors who dominated the first half with Stuart McMullan, Sam and Robbie Lurring proving dangerous on the left, while chances for Robbie and Graeme McMullan went amiss. But Graeme finally gave Ballynahinch the lead with a well-executed finish with his left foot at the back post after Naseem Ouldhamlat’s corner had evaded everyone else.

Match report: B United 2 – 3 Portavogie Rangers

It was a slow start for Ballynahinch when they found themselves kicking off half an hour late due to a road traffic accident, and just 4 minutes later, United found themselves behind when Portavogie Rangers took the lead from a corner.

Match report: Bangor Swifts 1 – 1 B United

Ballynahinch United travelled to St Columbanus College to face Bangor Swifts.

It was a slow start from the away side who were sloppy in possession, although Robbie Lurring came close to breaking the deadlock.

Match report: B United Swifts vs Ballyvea III

Swifts got back to league action on Saturday as they hosted Ballyvea at Millbridge. The home team started strongly taking the game to the Kilkeel men and didn’t take long to create the first chance when a Luke Craig cross was met at the back post by Glenn Bennett but he was unable to finish.

Match report: B United 2 – 0 Dundonald

Saturday 13th January saw BUFC play host to Dundonald FC at the Millbridge. United were hoping to carry over their current form from the previous two games into this one, however they knew it would be a battle against a strong Dundonald side.
