Match Report: Drumaness Mills Reserves 4 – 0 B United Swifts

Tuesday 12 April

The Swifts visited neighbours Drumaness Mills Reserves for the final game of our NADAFL 1 campaign.

United looked to continue their good form after 3 wins in a row but they came up against a very strong Drumaness side, many of whom had helped maintain their NAFL Premier status.

Ballynahinch struggled to cope early on but found their feet, particularly in the second half. Unfortunately the damage was done, with the hosts 3 up at half time.

The second half saw another goal in Drumaness’ favour and the game finished 4 – 0.

Despite their final position in the league still undecided, the Swifts are comfortably safe from relegation and look forward to another year in NADAFL Division 1.
