Dale Davidson steps down

Club statement

Ballynahinch United are disappointed to announce that Dale Davidson has left his role as manager.

Dale, who joined the club in June 2018 as Glynn Robinson’s assistant, helped guide the club to a 9th placed finish.

Dale then took over as manager after Glynn left in August 2021. He was soon joined by Ricky Graham in September 2019 and the pair saw out the Covid-19 delay before Ricky departed for Hanover FC in October 2021.

Despite that, Dale guided the club to four victories in the next five fixtures.

However, Davidson, a popular figure around the club, has unfortunately chosen to step down after three years, eight months at the club.

Dale leaves the club sitting in 11th position with 10 NAFL Division 1B fixtures left and every chance of pushing further up the table.

Ballynahinch United would like to place on record its gratitude and thanks to Dale for his efforts and contribution leading the club and wish him well for the future. He will always be welcome back at The Millbridge.

Further updates will be provided soon while training will take place as normal, at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Assumption Grammar School.
