Ballynahinch hosted 1B side Colin Valley at The Millbridge.

It was the home team who took the lead early on when Aaron Cheevers provided for his brother Scott.

United had more chances to increase their lead with opportunities for Scott, Jack Patterson and Aaron Cheevers, with Aaron crashing a free kick off the crossbar.

United entertained near neighbours Castlewellan Town in a league match on Saturday past welcoming former Player and Manager Glynn Robinson to The Millbridge as the opposition manager.

The management of Ballynahinch United had a challenge on their hands this weekend with an unprecedented 28 players unavailable across the club through injury, illness, work and holidays.

Despite the difficulties, all three teams still turned out which is a credit to the management and members throughout.
