United travelled to Rathmore Grammar School for the second time this season to face promotion pushers, Aquinas FC. The previous fixture between the pair here finished 2 – 1 to Aquinas FC in the Border Cup in horrifc weather conditions, and this week the weather was no different.

Match Report: Portaferry Rovers 4 – 2 BUFC
Ballynahinch United returned to league action after exiting the Intermediate Cup against Kilmore Rec. This week they took a trip to Portaferry Rovers at Cloughey Road Playing Fields.
The visitors were without their captain Gary Murray due to sickness and influential midfielders Gavin Crawford and Ben Wilson through work and marathoning, but were able to welcome back Peter Russell to the club.

Ballynahinch took a break from league action and made the short journey to face NAFL Div 1A neighbours, Kilmore Rec at Robert Adams Park.
With both teams struggling for results in their respective leagues, Intermediate Cup action was a welcome breather and both teams started well.
