Get Well Soon Robert Creighton
Everyone at the club would like to wish a speedy recovery to Robert Creighton who was recently hospitalised. Robert has been an outstanding supporter of the club over a considerable number of years missing only the odd match both home and away and we hope that he is able to be back at the Millbridge very soon. Club captain Scott Brashaw is pictured visiting Robert in hospital when he presented him with a Ballynahinch United Golf Society top.

UPS Ballynahinch Sponsorship
Many congratulations to the committee members who organised the recent Night at the Races event and also to those who have been working away diligently obtaining new sponsors and putting up the boards. Everyone at the club is very appreciative of the new sponsors who are giving excellent support to the club.

Presentation to Ballynahinch War Memorial Fund
Prior to The Swifts kick off on saturday at the Millbridge, Club Chairman Gilbert Cromie made a presentation to Ballynahinch War Memorial Fund to Committee member Andrew Carlisle on behalf of the club. The Millbridge Grounds were originally provided as a recreational facility for Ballynahinch after the Great War.

Bereavement Notice: Stanley McConnell
Everyone at BUFC would wish to convey their condolences to the McConnell family on the untimely death of Stanley. Many of the older players in the club had the honor of competing against Stanley in his Annalong days and while he rightly proved to be a formidable opponent he was always a true sportsman and gentleman and the local game will be all the poorer for his passing.
As a mark of respect, all fixtures at the weekend in the Newcastle League were cancelled so The Swifts had no game.
